A Bit About Me
Bruce Peiffer joined our office after a successful career in band directing at Sigourney and North Mahaska Schools. You may know Bruce as director of the Oskaloosa City Band which performs Thursday nights during the summer. Though Bruce has had an interest in Real Estate for many years, he knew that to do a good job he could not begin until he could fully immerse himself in the business.
After retiring from teaching in May of 2022, he began working with Hawkeye in early June. In his first year, Bruce has already found success in helping clients buy and sell their homes. We are excited to have Bruce on our team here at Hawkeye and we are confident his people skills will ensure he remains a successful Real Estate Agent for years to come.
Just For Fun...
Best thing about living in Central Iowa?
I have lived in this area all of my life. It’s a great location to be able to attend many events within an hour or so. I especially enjoy the summer months as I direct the Oskaloosa City Band on Thursday Nights. The Norman Rockwell setting of music being played from the bandstand as friends and neighbors gather is pure magic! And of course Hawkeye Real Estate supplies free Lemonade and Iced Tea!
Favorite memory from your career as a real estate agent
Passing the Exam!!
Be a proud parent. Tell us about your kids.
Cyndi and I have four children and two grandchildren. Megan is a lawyer and resides in Denver. Ben owns and operates Mobile Device Repair in Oskaloosa. Andy works in the Casey’s Corporate Office. Molly works in Criminal Justice. Grandsons Carter and Jaxon are here in town and we love spending time with them.
If you weren't a Realtor, what would you be doing?
I spent 30 years as a band instructor and loved it! So, I’d probably continue with band directing if I hadn’t sought my next career as a Realtor®.
Which of these three do you do most? Read, watch TV or listen to music.
Music is still a big part of my life. I watch very little TV, but I do like to have a good book around for downtime.
