In December of 1997, Jerri began working for Hawkeye Real Estate as the Broker’s assistant and learned all about Real Estate. She obtained her real estate license in June of 1999 and decided to become a full-time Realtor in August of 2001.

Jerri was raised in Ottumwa, Iowa, and attended William Penn College in Oskaloosa. During this time she got to know the Oskaloosa area well and appreciates this area and all it has to offer. She has expanded the region in which she actively works with properties to include a radius of about 30 miles from Oskaloosa.  She has listings in Ottumwa, Searsboro, Knoxville, and What Cheer. Jerri specializes in foreclosed properties. 

Jerri and her husband Ken were married in 1991. They have two sons who are growing by leaps and bounds. They enjoy spending time with them as a family, especially riding bikes. They are also active in their church. They work side-by-side in their family business, Minter’s Carpet Care Management. Ken has been involved in the business since 1996 and enjoys it very much.  In 2005, Ken obtained his Real Estate license and joined Hawkeye Real Estate. They love working together and make a great team.
