I was born and raised on a small diversified farm in East Central Iowa. I earned a BS degree from Iowa State University in 1960. My family, and I moved to Oskaloosa in 1964 and I entered into Real Estate on a part-time basis in 1971. I obtained my Brokers license in 1972 and have worked full-time in the business since then. I have held elected positions in the YMCA, St. Paul Congregational UCC Church, Oskaloosa City Council, and the Oskaloosa Board of Realtors. I currently belong to the National, State and Local Board of Realtors, the Elks Club and St. Paul Congregational UCC Church. In my spare time, I enjoy being a member, since 1964, of our church choir, playing an occasional round of golf, and listening to country music.
