Hawkeye Real Estate Agents Win Iowa Association of Realtors Achievement Awards

Congratulations to the Hawkeye Real Estate Realtors who won individual IAR achievement awards for 2009! Together they achieved over $16 million in sales.  

Jane Ireland and Lori Oaks earned Silver Awards and Michelle Purdum, Lisa Anderson-Tucker, Patti Ryan, Connie Burke and Lyle Siefering earned Bronze Awards.  Any Realtor or Realtor-Associate member of the IAR is eligible.  Eligible individual Realtors whose total sales volume was between 1-2.49 million or 15 credit units earned a Bronze Award and between 2.5-4.99 million or 25 credit units earned a Silver Award. 

The term Realtor® is a registered and protected trademark.  REALTOR® is a federally registered collective membership mark which identifies a real estate professional who is a Member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.  By joining the Realtor organization, a real estate professional has to adhere to a strict Code of Ethic and its standards of professionalism, integrity and competence.  These virtues are reflected in the daily lives of the Hawkeye Real Estate Realtors, which is why Hawkeye continues to be Oskaloosa’s #1 Real Estate Office!

Hawkeye Adds Branch Office

Hawkeye Real Estate is pleased to announce that as of February 1, 2007, Professional Real Estate has joined forces with Hawkeye. Hawkeye Real Estate will now have another branch office, located at the same site where Professional has been for the last 2 years, at 710 South Market, in Oskaloosa. Patti Ryan will remain the broker in charge of that branch office and Connie Burke, Carla Malloy, Gary Goldsmith, Tami Givens, and Kevin Van Donselaar will continue working at that location as well.

In addition to Patti's broker responsibilities; she will be the new mall manager of Penn Central Mall. She is filling the position vacated by Wendy Smith, who moved to the Kansas City area at the end of January. Patti will be spending afternoons in the branch office location at Penn Central Mall from 1-5PM.

With three locations and 21 licensed realtors, Hawkeye Real Estate is able to offer our clients the best service in Mahaska County and the surrounding areas.

Hawkeye Realtors Attend Training

The Realtors at Hawkeye Real Estate recently attended a training session held April 6, 2006 at Smokey Row.

The training course was presented by national real estate trainer, Karel Murray, DREI, CRB, CRS, GRI, ABR. The course was designed to improve the participants' ability to negotiate for buyers and sellers in an ethical manner and covered such topics as values, ethics and integrity in the selling and negotiation process. The training was sponsored by Lyle Siefering, Broker for Hawkeye Real Estate.

"My goal is to provide Hawkeye's Sales Associates the foundation and training they need to provide exceptional, ethical services to our clients in the real estate marketplace," states Siefering. "Home buyers and sellers will benefit from this knowledge."

The following real estate associates participated and received four continuing education credits: Tiffany De Jong, Mark Mauer, Chris Roach, Jerri Minter, Marcia Aalsburg, Lisa Anderson-Tucker, Auda Childs, Wendy Smith, Jane Ireland, Michelle Purdum, Alan Ammons, Lyle Siefering, and John Carter.
